SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed regarding the significant number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The service point created for intervention experiences a high inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for your office to read more attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all consumers and increase here usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
